ABOUT MATT HENNINGSEN

NFL defensive end that was taken by the Denver Broncos as a sixth round pick in the 2022 Draft. Previously, he played college football at the University of Wisconsin . Following his 2021 season, he was named to the third team All-Big Ten.

He played both offensive and defensive line while at Menomonee Falls High School. In addition to football, he was also a member of the basketball and track & field teams. At Wisconsin, he earned a 4.0 GPA, and received his degree in electrical engineering.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Houston Texans during week two of the 2022 regular season. He recorded eight tackles in seventeen games played during his rookie season. He was a walk-on at Wisconsin, despite being an All-State pick in high school.

He grew up living with his family in the Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin area.

He is a former Wisconsin collegiate athlete just like Devin Harris and Frank Kaminsky .
