Matt McKeon

ABOUT MATT MCKEON

American midfielder known for playing in the Major League Soccer with the Kansas City Wizards and for the US National Team. He played in the US National Team for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

He attended St. Louis University and was All American soccer player in 1994 and 1995. He is one of only a few people in college soccer to get both 40 goals and 40 assists. He was the first draft pick by the Kansas City Wizards in the 1996 MLS Draft.

After retiring, he worked as the boys' youth director and coach for various teams at the Sporting JB Marine Soccer Club in St. Louis.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri.

He played with soccer player Kasey Keller for the 1996 Summer Olympics Soccer Team.
