ABOUT MATT PRESTON
Food critic known as a judge on the reality TV show MasterChef Australia. He also served as the author of the newspaper food column Taste.
He was a DJ and punk rock musician before working in the food industry.
He won the 2008 Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Award for Food Journalist of the Year.
His father was British Naval historian Antony Preston. In 1999 he married Emma Preston; they have three children together.
He and George Calombaris both served as judges on MasterChef Australia.
