Matt Snell

ABOUT MATT SNELL

Running back who played for the New York Jets in the AFL and NFL from 1964-1972.

He attended Ohio State University, where he was ultimately named to the school's All-Century team.

He was drafted in the 4th round of the 1964 draft by the NFL's New York Giants, but surprised them by signing with the AFL's New York Jets, who drafted him in the first round.

He married Sharon Snell, and has two children with her.

He spent much of his career playing with Joe Namath .
