ABOUT MATT VIERLING

Professional outfielder that was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies during the fifth round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Phillies' single-A affiliate team the Williamsport Crosscutters.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Notre Dame , where he was a two-time All-ACC member.

He made his major league debut playing against the San Francisco Giants on June 19, 2021.

His brother Mark is a professional baseball player.

He played alongside Bryce Harper as a member of the Phillies during the 2021 MLB season.
