He founded The Dream Center in 1994, following in the footsteps of his father and fellow pastor Tommy Barnett.
He is a New York Times bestselling author. He took over leadership at Angelus Temple in November of 2001.
He has children named Mia Aimee and Caden West with his wife Caroline.
He and John C. Maxwell are both pastors who published a bestselling book.
