ABOUT MATTHEW DICKMAN
American poet known for All-American Poem, Black Ice, On Earth, and other collections. Also a teacher and editor, he was affiliated, respectively, with the Vermont College of the Arts and with Tin House Magazine.
He graduated from the University of Oregon. He published his debut poetic work, Amigos, in 2007.
He was the recipient of the 2009 Kate Tufts Discovery Award.
He and his twin brother Michael Dickman co-authored a 2012 work entitled 50 American Plays.
He and poet Philip Whalen were both born in Oregon.
