ABOUT MAURO COLAGRECO
Became known as the first non-French chef to win Chef of the Year by Gault & Millau restaurant guide. He's the owner of Mirazur restaurant, one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants by S. Pellegrino. He was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
He studied at the Gato Dumas hotel school in Buenos Aires.
He was awarded Revelation of the Year award by the Gault Millau guide.
He's originally from La Plata, Argentina.
Upon starting out, he trained with renowned chef Bernard Loiseau in France.
