ABOUT MAXIM TISSOT

Canadian defender who began his MLS career with the Montreal Impact in 2013, and helped the team win a Canadian Championship in his first year.

He first played professionally with Canada's Trois-Rivières Attak in 2008.

He was named Canadian Soccer League Defender of the Year in 2012 as a member of the Montreal Impact Academy.

He was born to Grace and Trevor Tissot.

He and Maxime Crepeau both joined the Montreal Impact in 2013.
