ABOUT MAXWEL CORNET

Ivorian professional soccer forward who left FC Metz to join Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais in 2015. He scored a goal during a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match as part of the Ivory Coast national team.

He became a member of the France under-16 soccer club in 2011.

He scored his first goal for Lyon in October 2015 as an 89th-minute substitute in a home win against Toulouse.

He was born in the Ivory Coast town of Bregbo.

He has played with Marcelo Guedes on the Lyon soccer team.
