ABOUT MAXWELL ANDERSON

The Pulitzer Prize-winning American playwright who penned High Tor, Key Largo, and The Bad Seed.

He was the Principal of a high school in North Dakota, but was fired in 1913 for making pacifist remarks to his students.

He won the Pulitzer Prize in Drama for his 1933 play, Both Your Horses.

He had three sons with his first wife, Margaret Haskett, who he married in 1911.

He wrote the screenplay to the 1957 Alfred Hitchcock film The Wrong Man.
