She graduated high school a year early to move out to Los Angeles, California. She started her main channel on June 30, 2012.

She has a follow-me-around vlogging channel called missmeghanvlogs. She was previously part of the all-girl collaboration channel called JustLikeThat .

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised there for the first 17 years of her life. Her two dogs, Squirtle and Larry, have their own Instagram accounts. She is the younger sister of Lindsey Hughes .
