Indian actress who has risen to stardom with her roles in Kannada-language films like 2011's Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga and 2012's Charminar. Her performance in Charminar earned her a FIlmfare Award nomination for Best Actress.
She graduated from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College before earning her Master's degree English Literature from Bangalore University.
She was crowned Miss Garden City Bangalore and Miss Beautiful Smile in 2003.
Her mother hails from the Indian state of Karnataka.
She appeared alongside Guru Dutt in the 2011 film Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga.
