Pop singer whose song "Con la luna llen" became the theme song for the Vuelta a España annual bicycle race.

He was a semi-professional football player, playing in the lower divisions of Astur CF and in the reserves of Real Oviedo.

After his exposure from Vuelta a España, his first two albums, Sin noticias de Holanda and Que el cielo espere sentao, went Platinum-certified.

He was born Ramón Melendi Espina in Oviedo, Spain. He began dating Julia Nakamatsu.

He covered Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" in Catalonian, titling it "Ulls dolços," for TV3's La Marató telethon in 2011.
