ABOUT MELISSA HERRERA

Professional football player who is known for her work with the Colombian club Independiente Santa Fe where she played as a forward. She is also known for having played on Costa Rica's national team as well.

She began her career playing with the Asociacion Deportiva Moravia academy in 2012. In 2013, she began playing for Costa Rica's Under 20 national team. In 2016, she joined the F.C. India. In 2017, she joined the Santa Fe club.

She is known for having won the Central American Games in 2013 as a part of Costa Rica's national team.

She was born and raised in Heredia, Costa Rica.

She played alongside Gloriana Villalobos as part of Costa Rica's national team.
