After earning a degree in financial studies, she then went on to complete studies in theatre arts from University of Lagos in 2001.
Known for her love of all things fashion, she launched her clothing store Mag Divas Boutique in 2014.
She has a sister named Joy. She and husband Lanre Gentry, a hotelier, have two children. She also has three stepdaughters.
Both she and Funke Akindele are well known actresses in Nigerian cinema.
