ABOUT MICHAEL BENT
Rugby prop who joined the Hurricanes in 2011 and the Irish international team in 2012.
He played for Taranaki in the under-16 group.
He made his Irish international debut against South Africa in 2012.
He had an Irish grandmother, which qualified him to play internationally for Ireland.
He and fellow New Zealander Karl Lowe both played for the Hurricanes in Super Rugby.
