ABOUT MICHAEL CHIKLIS
Best known as Detective Vic Mackey on FX's The Shield and Commissioner Tony Scali on ABC's The Commish. He would later star as Vincent Savino in Vegas and Dell Toledo in the fourth season of American Horror Story.
At the age of 20, he shaved his head to portray a 65-year-old man and used grease paint on his head which killed his hair follicles. He believed this to be a traumatic experience for a young actor, though it helped shape his career in the end.
He played the Thing in the Fantastic Four film series. He played Dan Pawketty in the 2021 comedy-drama Don't Look Up .
He married Michelle Epstein in 1992. He has two daughters, Odessa and Autumn , the latter of whom played his daughter on The Shield.
He acted in The Fantastic Four alongside Jessica Alba .
