He received the Ethics in America Award from Chapman University in 2000.
He found himself in hot water after one of the women with whom he had an affair was revealed to be a lobbyist.
He has two children with his wife Susan.
His infamous taped conversation was had with fellow Republican Assemblyman Jeff Miller .
