As a child, he was obsessed with science fiction. He graduated from Old Dominion University in 2008. He worked as an actor. He launched his channel in 2016.

He is a self-described Star Trek geek. One of his most viewed YouTube videos is titled "When Phones Were Fun - And Nokia Was Crazy." He also posted the popular video "Review: Moto Z Play + Hasselblad Moto Mod."

He and his father built model boats and submarines. He filmed them in action in Long Island, New York.
