American actor who is known for his role as Daniel Romalotti on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless . He has also starred in the television series' True Detective , American Horror Story , and Good Girls Revolt.

At the age of 5, he began acting in Germany, in a production of The King and I. He moved to the United States at 11-years-old. He graduated from Nashua High School and The University of New Hampshire.

He posts photos with his family on his Instagram account goodgriefcharliebrown. He has gained over 10,000 followers. Throughout the course of his career as an actor, he has appeared in more than 50 titles. He appeared in more than 900 episodes of The Young and the Restless.

He is married to Lauren Carey and they have twin boys, Arlo Wilde & Oliver Bear.

He starred alongside Genevieve Angelson , Anna Camp and Hunter Parrish in the television series Good Girls Revolt.
