ABOUT MICHAEL HARRIS II

Professional center fielder that was drafted by the Atlanta Braves during the third round of the 2019 Major League Draft. He was named one of the Braves top 100 MLB prospects in 2021 and 2022. He finished his 2022 MLB rookie season with an .297 batting average and 19 home runs and he was named the 2022 NL Rookie of the Year.

He was drafted out of Stockbridge High School in Stockbridge, Georgia. He first began his professional career playing for the GCL Braves.

During his rookie season, he was named National League Rookie of the Month four times.

He is a native of the Atlanta, Georgia area. He grew up living with his parents and his sister.

He recorded his first MLB home run facing Kyle Finnegan .
