ABOUT MICHAEL JAMIESON
Swimmer who is known for his international career as a member of the Great Britain national team. He earned a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London in the 200-meter breaststroke event.
He extensively played soccer throughout his youth. He quit at age 13 to more fully focus on swimming.
He set the then-British record for the 200-meter breaststroke event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He has also competed in the 100-meter breaststroke event.
He was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland.
He joined American swimmer Cullen Jones in earning a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
