ABOUT MICHAEL KELLY

Veteran reliever that has pitched professionally within the Baltimore Orioles , Houston Astros , Philadelphia Phillies and the Cleveland Guardians organizations. He was initially drafted by the San Diego Padres as a 48th rounder in 2011. He later signed a multi-year deal with the Oakland Athletics in 2023.

Prior to being drafted, he played baseball at West Boca Raton Community High School. He eventually began his professional baseball career with the Arizona League Padres.

He made his official major league debut while playing against the Washington Nationals on June 16, 2022. He pitched one scoreless inning.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Boca Raton, Florida. He now lives along with his wife, Kimberly.

He played alongside Lawrence Butler as a member of the Athletics during the 2025 MLB regular season.
