ABOUT MICHAEL STODDARD LAUGHLIN

Former film producer, screenwriter and director known primarily for his work on the 1983 film Strange Invaders. He is also known for his work on the films Mesmerized and Strange Behavior.

He began his professional producing career in 1967.

Due to his critically-acclaimed writing for the film Strange Invaders, he was nominated for Best Writing at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films Awards Ceremony in 1984.

He is a native of Minonk, Illinois.

He worked alongside Diane Keaton on the film Town & Country.
