ABOUT MICHAEL LORENZEN

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds during the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Reds' rookie affiliate team the AZL Reds.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Cal State Fullerton , where he was named an All-American in 2012.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 29, 2015.

He and his wife, Cassi, were married in 2016.

He played alongside Joey Votto as a member of the Reds during the 2018 MLB season.
