Rose to fame as the first born son of the late singer and actress Jenni Rivera .

His mother gave birth to his older sister, Janney , while she was still in high school. She later married his father, José Trinidad Marín. They divorced in 1992.

He appeared with his family in the reality show I Love Jenni from 2011 to 2013.

He has two older sisters, Janney and Jacqueline , and two younger siblings, Jenicka and Juan Angel .

His mother was briefly married to baseball player Esteban Loaiza before she passed away in 2012.
