ABOUT MICHAEL PARKHURST
Right back who joined the Columbus Crew in 2014 after spending a year with FC Augsburg and four years with Nordsjaelland. He debuted for the US national team in 2007.
He played college soccer at Wake Forest from 2002 to 2004.
He made his professional debut with Brandenton Academics in 2003, then played for the New England Revolution from 2005 to 2008.
He was born in Providence, Rhode Island.
He and fellow defender Geoff Cameron became teammates on the US national team.
