Best known for playing Anthony Russo on the popular 1990s sitcom Blossom, this screen actor had a second career as a television writer for Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Mr. Show, and Mad TV.

Before being cast in Blossom, he appeared in television movies titled Exile and Gross Anatomy.

He trained with the famous Chicago comedy troupe Second City.

He grew up in Chicago and Evanston, Illinois. His marriage to voice actress Carolyn Lawrence ended in divorce.

In the popular 2008 movie The Dark Knight, he played one of the sidekicks of Heath Ledger 's Joker character.
