ABOUT MICHAEL TAYLOR

Centerfielder who made his MLB debut with the Washington Nationals in 2014. He won a World Series Championship with the team in 2019. He began playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2024.

He was selected in the 6th round, at number 172 overall, in the 2009 MLB Draft. He was first added to the professional team's 40-man roster on November 20, 2013.

He has four older sisters. He was raised by his mother and father, who was a long-serving logistics officer for the US Army.

He has frequently played as the backup centerfielder to Denard Span for the Washington Nationals.
