Well known film, television, and stage actor who starred on the big screen in Grease as Sonny, Blow as Dr. Bay, and The Heat as Mr. Mullins. His most well known television role was as Norman Briggs in Diagnosis Murder.
He made his debut in 1975 with roles in The Night They Robbed Big Bertha's and Forced Entry.
He appeared in more than twenty episodes of the series' Flying Blind and The Paper Chase.
He was born in New York City to parents Nicholas and Minerva.
He starred on It's Garry Shandling 's Show as Pete Schumaker for five seasons.
