Center back and right back who joined Saprissa in 2013 after spending a year each with Comunicaciones and Chivas USA. He began his long tenure with the Costa Rican national team in 2004.
He debuted professionally for Carmelita in 1999.
He appeared in 67 matches for Liberia Mia from 2007 to 2010.
He was born in Santa Ana, Costa Rica.
He and Joel Campbell became teammates on the Costa Rican national team.
