Michael Venus
ABOUT MICHAEL VENUS
He was the SEC Player of the Year and a two-time First-Team All-SEC player in college, and he went on to play professionally.
In 2006, he won the Boys’ 18 National Clay Courts.
He played collegiate tennis at the University of Texas and Louisiana State University.
He was born in Auckland, New Zealand but moved to the United States when he was a boy.
His tennis idol growing up was seven-time Wimbledon champ Pete Sampras .
