Actor best known for playing Taylor Doose on the WB series Gilmore Girls . He played the role for seven seasons. He returned for the 2016 revival series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life . He has also appeared in many other series including Days of Our Lives , Ally McBeal , Friends , The Nanny , Cheers , L.A. Law , and Law & Order .
His first screen role was playing an opthalmologist in the 1987 television movie Eye on the Sparrow.
He has performed with the Oregon Shakespeare Company and the Seattle Shakespeare Company. He spent 10 years with the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
