ABOUT MICHAEL YORK
British actor who paired with Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film Cabaret. He also played Tybalt in Franco Zeffirelli 's 1968 film Romeo and Juliet and starred as the title character in the 1976 action film Logan's Run.
He became a member of the National Theatre and worked with Franco Zeffirelli before graduating from the University of Oxford.
In 1997, he played John the Baptist in Jesus of Nazareth.
His mother is musician Florence Edith May Chown. He married Pat York in 1968.
He played the character Basil Exposition in the Austin Powers trilogy that starred comedian Mike Myers .
