Michael Zigomanis

ABOUT MICHAEL ZIGOMANIS

Canadian-born ice hockey forward drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 1999 and the Carolina Hurricanes in 2001.

He received his high school education at Father Michael McGivney Catholic Academy.

He signed a contract to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010.

His parents were Macedonian immigrants who settled in Ontario, Canada.

He briefly played alongside Phil Kessel on the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2010-11 season.
