ABOUT MICHAL SZPAK

Polish rock singer known for representing his country at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, where he came in eighth place. He'd released his debut album, Byle Byc Soba, the year before.

He started playing music regularly in high school, when he was part of a band called Whiplash.

He appeared on the first season of X-Fact in Poland in 2011, where he finished as the runner-up. He has more than 220,000 followers on Instagram.

He grew up in Jaslo, Poland with three siblings.

Jamala won the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
