ABOUT MICHALIS KONSTANTINOU
Cypriot footballer who became known for his skills as a striker; one of the country's leading scorers and highest-paid athletes.
He spent his youth career with Paralimni, as well as the first part of his senior career, from 1993 until 1997.
He signed with Panathinaikos in 2001 for a controversial €11.3 million, one of the highest amounts ever given to a Cyprus player.
His family was residing in Paralimni, Cyprus, when he was born.
He and Akis Zikos played for the Greece national team around the same time.
