Star of the 2018 thriller Searching who plays Margot, the girl who goes missing in the film.
She studied biochemistry at Biola University. She then briefly worked in a lab for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.
Before Searching, she worked on CBS' Mom and in the Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls .
She was born Michelle Kang in born in Orange County and raised in Glendale, California.
She plays the daughter of John Cho 's character in Searching.
