ABOUT MICHELLE MELDRUM

Heavy metal guitarist known for her work with Meldrum and Phantom Blue. Her albums with the groups include Blowin' Up the Machine, Prime Cuts & Glazed Donuts, and Loaded Metal Cannon.

She grew up in a musical family and, as a young woman, established a metal band called Wargod.

She died at the age of thirty-nine after suffering a coma due to a cranial cyst.

Born and raised in Michigan and California, she moved to Sweden after marrying fellow musician John Norum . She and Norum became parents to a son named Jake.

She toured with guitar virtuoso Zakk Wylde .
