Professional midfielder that was signed by the Turkey-based football club Fenerbahçe S.K. in 2019. He has also made appearances as a member of the Slovenian men's national team.
He began his soccer career playing for the NK IB 1975 Ljubljana youth squad.
He scored his first career international goal playing against the Montenegrin national team on June 2, 2018.
He grew up living with his family in Šempeter pri Gorici, Slovenia.
He played alongside Jan Oblak as a member of the Slovenian national team.
