ABOUT MIHKEL VESKE

Estonian poet who published his major works during the second half of the nineteenth century. His poetry collections include Dr. Veske Laulud and Mihkel Veske Laulud.

He published his first poetry collection, Viisidega Laulud, in 1874.

He was a professor at the University of Tartu.

He was born and raised on his family's farm in Viljandi County, Estonia.

He was born in the same country as fellow poet Ernst Enno .
