Popular singer who found success when he released a 2006 collaborative album with Paulo Tavares titled Paulo & Mika. He went on to record the solo releases My Inspiration, Sem Limite, Timeless and Visão.
He participated in the Cape Verdean music compilation Aliança in 2001.
He won 2007 PALOP Awards for Best Artist of the Year and Best Album of the Year.
His father is musician Boy Gé Mendes.
