ABOUT MIKA NINAGAWA

Contemporary Japanese photographer and director best known for her distinct landscape, flower and goldfish photography. She's also known for her fashion photography images, which have graced the pages of publications such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. She firected the film Helter Skelter in 2012.

She was first trained as a graphic designer.

She won the 26th Kimura Ihea Award by Asahi Shimbun Publishing Co.

She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.

She directed and created Alicia Key's Japanese music video "Girl on Fire."
