ABOUT MIKE BREWER
Singer-songwriter who was one-half of the duo Brewer & Shipley in the 1960s and 1970s. They were best known for the songs "One Toke Over the Line," "Tarkio Road" and "Shake Off The Demon."
He played gigs in coffee shops before forming the duo in 1967.
He and Shipley reunited briefly in the late 1980s.
He was born and raised in the Oklahoma City area. He married in 1992 and had one child.
He collaborated with singer Dan Fogelberg on his LP Beauty Lies.
