Mike Montgomery

ABOUT MIKE MONTGOMERY

Head basketball coach at the University of Montana from 1978to 1986, Stanford University from 1986 to 2004, and Golden State from 2004 to 2006.

He received a Master's degree in Physical Education from Colorado State University.

He was awarded the John R. Wooden Legends of Coaching Lifetime Achievement Award following his time at Stanford.

He has two children with his wife Sara.

He served as an assistant coach under head coach George Karl during the 2002 FIBA World Championship.
