ABOUT MIKE VICTORINO
The eight mayor of the County of Maui in Hawaii, he ran for office in 2018 and received 54.1% of the popular vote. He assumed office on January 3, 2019. Before that he served as a council member in Wailuku from 2006 to 2017
He attended Hawaii Community College and University of Hawaii at Hilo.
He worked on a pineapple farm in high school.
He and his wife Joycelyn had two sons, Michael and Shane Victorino , a former MLB Baseball Player.
He is most commonly associated with fellow Hawaiian politicians, David Ige and Brian Schatz .
