Left wing who began his NHL career with the New Jersey Devils during the 2015-16 season. He played college hocket at Boston College .

He was selected in the fourth round of the 2013 NHL Draft.

He scored the game-winning goal in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs that secured the Devils a spot in the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs.

His parents' names are Cindy and Randy Wood. His father is a former professional hockey player and his older brother Tyler has played hockey professionally in a European league.

He became teammates with Kyle Palmieri on the Devils.
