Azerbaijani film star who was named the People's Artist of Azerbaijan in 1992. The same year that he appeared in If Not That One, Then This One, he was named an Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR.
He had a vocal specialty while studying at the Azerbaijan State Conservatoire.
He starred in his final film, Helle From the Next World, in 1991.
He was born into a prominent family in Baku, Azerbaijan.
He earned some of his country's greatest honors, which is also true for Azerbaijani poet Samad Vurgun .
