ABOUT MISHA GREEN
Screenwriter, director, and film producer known for Lovecraft Country, The Mother, and Underground. She wrote the screenplay for the sequel to Tomb Raider .
She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in New York City where she studied film and television. She graduated in 2006 with honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She began her career as a staff writer for Heroes and Sons of Anarchy. She then wrote and created the show Underground in 2016. She wrote the script Lovecraft Country in 2020, which was adapted from the book Lovecraft Country and resulted in her big break into bigger projects.
She is a fan of Star Trek and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Joss Whedon is one of her favorite directors and she considers his work inspiring. She likes muscle cars but doesn't like to drive.
She was born in Sacramento, California, USA. She has a sister named Natasha.
Her script for Lovecraft Country was produced by Get Out director and writer Jordan Peele .
